The Alumni Association extends its deepest condolences to the family of alumnus Thavaratnam a/l S Kumarasamy who passed away unexpectedly on 24th December, 2012.
Thava completed his sixth form at the Ipoh ACS in 1979, Lately, he has been most supportive of both the alma mater and the alumni association. He very generously contributed towards the costs of re-airconditioning the school library and digitilizing our entire collection of The Voyager for uploading onto this website. His next contribution could have been one of sponsoring school meals at the ACS for students of financially deprived families.
A full page obituary was inserted in “The Star” of 27th December at page 56.
Thava will be missed by us all.
